Hey there! I’m Rachael Lodge of The Sourdough Lodge, and I’m thrilled to share my love of sourdough bread with you.
My journey into the world of sourdough began in 2024 when a friend and local restaurant owner shared some of her 20-year-old sourdough starter with me. From my very first loaf, I was fascinated by the transformation of a few simple ingredients into something magical and what had started as a hobby quickly turned into a bustling small business!

For as long as I can remember, feeding others has given me the deepest sense of joy. My sourdough loaves are made with organic flour and my natural starter, rising slowly to result in irresistibly soft bread that nourishes both body and soul.
When I’m not baking, you’ll find me with my two kids, supportive husband, and our dog—or channeling my competitive spirit on the tennis court! As a proud native Nashvillian, I’m excited to share the many benefits of sourdough through my fresh-baked loaves with my local community.
